Canon Introduces Affordable RF-Mount Cinema Prime Lenses and PTZ Camera

Canon has announced its first RF-Mount Cinema Prime Lenses for the Cinema EOS system, designed for high optical performance in 4K and 8K shooting. The seven lenses, ranging from 14mm to 135mm, are compatible with Canon's RF-Mount Cinema Cameras and offer full RF mount communications. They feature large-diameter aspherical lens elements and anomalous dispersion glass for shallow depth of field and soft image expressions. The lenses also maintain Canon's unified Cinema EOS color balance and offer improved ergonomics for comfortable handling. Preorders are available now, with shipping expected to begin in late January 2024.
