
Bluetooth Hack Enables Thief to Steal 800 Gallons of Gas
A thief in Michigan used the Bluetooth feature on a cellphone to hack into a fuel station pump and stole approximately 800 gallons of gas worth $3,000. By overriding the system, the thief was able to open the pump for themselves and other vehicles to freely pump gas. Authorities are currently searching for the alleged thief, while fuel station owners are taking precautions to prevent further incidents of hacking and gas theft.
