Matthew Perry's Tragic Death Exposes Alleged Lies About Sobriety and Ketamine Use
Friends star Matthew Perry, who passed away last month at the age of 54 from a ketamine overdose, was reportedly never clean despite claiming to have overcome his addictions in his memoir. A close friend of Perry's revealed that he lied to everyone about being clean and that his struggle with addiction was ongoing. The autopsy report confirmed that Perry died from the acute effects of ketamine combined with drowning, with high levels of ketamine found in his system. Perry had previously spoken about his battle with drug and alcohol addiction and his efforts to get sober. He was laid to rest in an intimate ceremony attended by his Friends co-stars.
