Ball x Pit will roll out its first free major update, the Regal Update, on Nintendo Switch on January 26, adding two new characters (The Carouser and The Falconer), eight new balls, and new passive effects, with a launch-day surprise teased; three more free updates are planned for the year.
A free content update called The Final Horizon is coming to Sonic Frontiers on September 28, featuring new story content, playable characters, and challenges. The update was announced at gamescom Opening Night Live, where a cinematic trailer showcased Sonic and his team facing off against a formidable enemy. Additionally, Sonic Superstars, a highly anticipated platformer, received an October 17 release date.
Sonic Frontiers' second free content update, Sonic's Birthday Bash, is now available for download, adding new challenges, moves, and a new collectible for Sonic, as well as free birthday decorations and New Game Plus mode. The update is part of the game's 2023 roadmap, with the third and most substantial update set to arrive later this year.
