Sonic Superstars: New Levels Only, No Returning Classics.
Sonic Superstars, Sega's newly-announced sidescrolling Sonic game with 3D graphics and four-player co-op, will not feature classic levels like Green Hill Zone, Chemical Plant, or levels seen in prior 2D Sonic games. Instead, the game will introduce fresh locations and new abilities while retaining the classic gameplay of the franchise. Sonic Superstars is set to release on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this Fall.
