Bison Escapes Cause Chaos in Northern Maine
A runaway bison that escaped from Fort Fairfield was put down by its owner after being spotted with eight other bison on Dow Siding Road and East Presque Isle Road in Caribou, Maine. This is the second time this year that bison have escaped from Fort Fairfield. Police are working with the state and the owner to prevent future escapes.
