Trump Org. controller's emotional testimony exposes fraud in NY trial
Former Trump Organization controller, Jeff McConney, broke down in tears on the witness stand during a civil fraud trial, explaining that the toll of investigations and accusations of misconduct led him to leave the company after 35 years. McConney expressed frustration with being accused of misrepresenting assets and testified that he remains proud of his career. He also acknowledged receiving most of his severance package and shifted blame to an accounting firm for any inflated asset values on Trump's financial statements. The trial will resume after the Thanksgiving break.
