James Madison University's football team, in its second year of transitioning to the Football Bowl Subdivision, has been selected to participate in a bowl game for the first time in program history. With an impressive 11-1 overall record and 7-1 conference mark, JMU finished with the best record in the Sun Belt Conference. The team excelled in various defensive categories and ranked in the top 25 for both scoring offense and defense. The full bowl schedule will be announced on December 3.
