The FNCS Global Championship 2023, the biggest in-person Fortnite esports event since the 2019 World Cup, concluded with Cooper and Mero taking home the grand prize of $1 million. The tournament featured 50 duos from the upper bracket and 24 from the lower bracket, with matches played over three days. The event was held at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was streamed live in English and Portuguese. A total prize pool of $4 million was awarded to the 75 Grand Finalists.
