Gun Manufacturer Expands Production in Upstate SC
FN America, a gun manufacturer that produces small firearms for the military, is investing $33 million to build a new production facility in Pickens County, South Carolina. The new plant is expected to create 176 jobs and will be completed in 2025. FN America first launched operations in South Carolina in 1981 and plans to break ground on the new facility in 2024.
