A Gallup survey of over 5,700 US workers found that the most commonly offered flexibility options, such as relaxed dress codes and flexible start and end times, were not the ones that employees most valued. Instead, increased paid time off and four-day workweeks were the most desired. While these options can improve employee well-being, engagement with work and strong performance management are also crucial for success. Leaders should involve employees in deciding which flexibility options work best for their team's performance and overall lives.
