"Family Alleges Toddler Injured in Botched Police Raid"
An Ohio mother is demanding an investigation after claiming that a mistaken police raid on her aunt's home in a Cleveland suburb resulted in her 17-month-old son being injured by a flash-bang explosion. The Elyria Police Special Response Team said they were executing a search warrant for a minor connected to a burglary, but the mother alleges that the explosion blew out a window near her son, who was already on a ventilator at the time. The family plans to take legal action against the department, and the city's mayor has stated that he is "deeply concerned" and is reviewing bodycam footage as an investigation into the department's conduct is underway.
