The Los Angeles Clippers selected Kobe Brown, an All-Southeastern Conference forward from Missouri Tigers, with the 30th overall choice in the NBA draft, making him the 16th first-round draft pick in Mizzou history. Brown became emotional after hearing the news and will sign a four-year contract with the Clippers. He is the third Mizzou player drafted by the Clippers and the first since Malcolm Thomas in 1985.
