"Firefighters Contend with Persistent Industrial Blaze in El Segundo"
Originally Published 1 year ago — by KABC-TV

Firefighters in El Segundo battled a stubborn two-alarm blaze at an industrial business on Lomita Street, with the flames resisting initial efforts to extinguish them. The building's roof collapsed and was fully engulfed in flames, requiring fire crews to use aerial ladders to position hoses above the building. Despite massive amounts of water being poured on the roof, the flames persisted, and at one point, an overhead power line sparked up and ignited. No injuries were immediately reported, and the business may be involved in glass and mirror work.
