The Biofire Smart Gun is designed with home defense in mind and is always locked by default but instantly accessible for the owner. The gun can be unlocked using either facial or fingerprint recognition, making it more reliable. The Smart Gun will be shipped to customers through the same legal transfer process required of all traditional firearms and will be available for pre-order.
