Release Date Changes and Renaming: 'Aquaman 2' Delayed, 'Wise Guys' Transformed into 'Alto Knights'
Warner Bros. has shifted the release date of "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" from December 20 to December 22, giving the superhero film a traditional three-day opening. This change allows the film to have some distance from the release of the Timothée Chalamet film "Wonka" on December 15. Warner Bros. is also releasing the musical adaptation of "The Color Purple" on Christmas Day. Additionally, the studio has renamed the upcoming Robert De Niro film from "Wise Guys" to "Alto Knights" and moved its release date from February 2, 2024, to November 14, 2024.
