The Gotham Film & Media Institute held its inaugural Gotham TV Awards in New York City, recognizing 10 rising series creators for their innovative and bold new series. Honorees include Stephanie Adams-Santos, Abbesi Akhamie, Mithra B. Alavi, Aisha Amin, Elaine Hsieh Chou, Aizzah Fatima, Bat-Sheva Guez, Dallas Rico, Thea Rodgers, and Craig T. Williams. These creators will attend The Gotham Week Project Market for industry opportunities. The event also honored outstanding TV series and performances across eight categories.
