Ukraine's Armed Forces have shot down another Russian Su-34 fighter bomber, marking the eighth Russian frontline aircraft brought down in ten days. The Ukrainian Air Force commander warned Russian pilots to see their relatives before each flight, as the Su-34 is Russia's premier frontline fighter bomber, designed for precision strikes on ground targets. Ukraine's General Staff reported that from Feb. 24, 2022 to Feb. 21, 2024, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 339 fixed wing aircraft and 325 helicopters belonging to the Russians.
