Top golfers gather at Oak Hill for 2023 PGA Championship, minus Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia.

The PGA Championship has announced a field of 99 of the top 100 players in the world ranking, with the exception of Sergio Garcia, who had been eligible for every major since 1999. The field includes 18 players from Saudi-funded LIV Golf, including Phil Mickelson, the defending champion. The only player from the top 100 not in the field is Will Zalatoris, who is out for the rest of the season after surgery on his lower back. The PGA Championship starts on May 18 at Oak Hill outside Rochester, New York.
