Tide evo tiles roll out nationwide as new detergent format
Tide is rolling out Tide evo, a dry, fiber-based detergent tile, nationwide starting April 4 after earlier SXSW debut and a Colorado test; the tile dissolves in water to activate stain fighters and cleaners, and is available in Original, Spring Blast, and Free & Gentle versions; packaging uses recyclable paperboard and the product is designed for cold-water washing, priced roughly $5–$20 per box (about 48 cents per load); Tide expects powders, liquids, pods, and tiles to coexist, while aiming to reduce shipping emissions; Tide holds about 50 patents related to the tile.
