The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver who intentionally hit a motorcyclist with their car on I-75 in Sumter County, leaving the motorcyclist with serious injuries. The incident, which occurred early Friday morning, was captured on dashcam video, showing a gray or silver Honda Civic abruptly steering into the motorcyclist and then driving off, leaving parts of the vehicle at the scene. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FHP or Crime Stoppers.

A 30-year-old man from Lauderhill, Florida, is facing 12 charges in connection to the deaths of a Florida Highway Patrol trooper and a truck driver. The suspect, Michael Anthony Addison, was taken into custody and appeared in court via Zoom. The charges include murder, fleeing and eluding, and driving on a suspended license resulting in death. The incident occurred when the suspect, driving a white Kia, attempted to evade the trooper and made an abrupt turn, resulting in a collision with a semi tractor trailer, killing the trooper and the truck driver.

A 34-year-old man from Kissimmee died after losing control of his pickup truck and crashing into Union Lake in Orlando. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the single-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning. The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 2-year-old child was killed and two other children were injured in a crash in Brevard County, Florida. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over multiple times. The 2-year-old was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the two other children, ages 5 and 7, were belted in but sustained minor injuries. The incident is still under investigation.

A 51-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck while trying to pass it on County Road 44-A in Lake County. The truck was making a left turn onto Bill Collins Road when the collision occurred. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital but did not survive, while the other driver was uninjured.
