Fortnite's Expensive Microtransactions and Racing Tips
Fortnite is introducing expensive microtransactions in its new Rocket Racing and Festival modes, with cars costing up to $37 and individual songs priced at $5. The Rocket Racing mode offers a Diesel Bundle for 4,000 V-Bucks ($37), while the Festival mode sells songs for 500 V-Bucks ($5) each. Additionally, the Festival mode has a separate battle pass priced at 1,800 V-Bucks ($18), almost double the cost of the normal battle pass. These new additions mark a significant shift in Fortnite's microtransaction strategy, as the game explores new ways to monetize its expanding metaverse.
