Leerdam earns 500m silver as Kok hits Olympic record at Milan-Cortina 2026
Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam won silver in the women’s 500-meter at Milan-Cortina 2026, finishing 0.66 seconds behind teammate Femke Kok, who set an Olympic record of 36.49 seconds; Erin Jackson missed the podium by 0.5 seconds. Leerdam had already claimed gold in the 1000m earlier in these Games, giving her a second Olympic medal, while fiancé Jake Paul publicly celebrated her performance.
