Jessica Campbell Poised to Make NHL History with Kraken Coaching Role
Jessica Campbell, currently an assistant coach for the AHL’s Coachella Valley Firebirds, is in talks to become the first full-time female assistant coach in NHL history with the Seattle Kraken. Campbell has a history of breaking barriers, having coached in the AHL and at the Men’s World Championships. The Kraken's new head coach, Dan Bylsma, is considering her for his staff, though she may also stay with the Firebirds as their head coach.
