A 36-year-old Minnesota man, Mark Anderson, was arrested after arriving at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn claiming to be an FBI agent with a court order to release Luigi Mangione, who is jailed in connection with the murder of Brian Thompson. Anderson allegedly presented a Minnesota driver’s license, warned officers of weapons in his bag, and threw papers at guards; he is charged with falsely impersonating a U.S. government officer.
