"Google introduces Material You widgets for Contacts app"
Google Contacts for Android is rolling out two new Material You widgets - "Individual Contact" and "Favorite Contacts". The former shows a profile picture that opens the person's full details page when tapped, while the latter displays up to seven top starred contacts. The widgets respond to Dynamic Color theming and can be customized. The new widgets are available with version 4.5.24.x of Google Contacts for Android on Pixel and Samsung devices.
