"Massive Recall Issued for Biometric Gun Safes Over Unauthorized Access Concerns"
Over 120,000 gun safes from four different companies – Bulldog Cases, Machir, MouTec, and Awesafe – have been recalled due to faulty biometric locks, allowing unauthorized users to open the safes. The recalls were prompted by reports of the safes being opened by unauthorized users after the biometric locks failed. Owners are advised to stop using the biometric feature immediately and only use the key when storing firearms. The companies are offering repair kits or free replacement safes to impacted customers.
