Fatal Frame 2 Remake Demo Arrives with Silent Hill F Crossover, Switch 2 Launch Slated for March 2026
Koei Tecmo announced a March 5, 2026 demo for Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake, with save data transferable to the full game, plus a Silent Hill F collaboration that will add free DLC costumes later. The remake introduces new locations (Umbral Mound, Eikado Temple), expanded lore, and gameplay tweaks such as Prayer Beads, Reversion Beads, and new Camera Obscura shots, plus a new Photo Mode. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled to launch on March 12, 2026.
