Green City Market Finds Year-Round Home in North Center
Green City Market has purchased the former Montrose garden center at 2457 W. Montrose Ave. for $899,000 to serve as a new year-round home, enabling a winter market and pop-up events. The 5,000-square-foot space will support the market’s vendors and programs, with renovations funded by Abby Mandel’s estate trust. Lincoln Park and West Loop markets will continue operating as usual, while the Avondale indoor winter market runs through March during planning for the new space.
