Fallen Fargo Officer Jake Wallin Honored as Gunman's Details Emerge
Fargo Officer Jake Wallin, who was killed in the line of duty on July 15, will be laid to rest at a private funeral and burial with military honors. A procession will escort his body to Pequot Lakes, where the funeral service will take place. The public is asked to pay their respects with signs, flags, or a friendly wave, but not to attend the service. Two other officers injured in the incident are currently in serious condition at the hospital. A public celebration of life will be held in Fargo on July 26.
