"Sweet 16 Madness: Fan Send-Offs, Picks, Predictions, and Historic Firsts"
Creighton University will host a public send-off for their men's basketball team before they travel to Louisville for the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. Fans can line the sidewalk on the southwest side of Morrison Stadium by 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday to see the team depart. Creighton will face Princeton on Friday night for a spot in the Elite Eight. This is the second time in the modern tournament era that Creighton has reached the Sweet 16, and they are one of eight schools to have made multiple Sweet 16 appearances in the past three years.
