Dominant Chinese Taipei pitcher throws combined perfect game at LLWS
Chinese Taipei's Fan Chen-Jun, a 12-year-old phenom, stole the show at the Little League World Series by throwing 3 2/3 innings and striking out nine of the 11 batters he faced, while allowing just two balls in play. His fastball reached 80 mph and his slider hit at least 70 mph. Chen-Jun also hit a two-run homer and helped lead his team to a combined perfect game, with a total of 14 strikeouts against Canada. This was the first perfect game in the LLWS since 2017 and Chinese Taipei holds the record with 17 championships.
