Medical students across the US discover residency fate on Match Day.
Fourth year medical students at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health found out where they will be spending the next three to seven years developing their medical skills during the Match Day ceremony. All of the students in the class of 2023 who applied to a residency program matched with one, with just over 30% of those students attending an in-state program. One student, Kelly Kuehl, will be returning to the UW for the Family Medicine Residency Program.
