Tragic Murder-Suicide Claims Four Lives in Phoenix
The aunt of one of the victims in the Phoenix family murder-suicide reveals that the husband, Bryan Fitz, had become controlling and abusive towards his wife, Sage, leading her to express her intention to end their marriage. Bryan believed Sage was having an affair with her boss, Carmen Buscemi, which was not true. Bryan, described as a "family annihilator" by psychologists, shot and killed Sage, Carmen, their 12-year-old autistic son, Baynen, and their family dog before taking his own life. The extended family is devastated, and Sage's mother was hospitalized for broken heart syndrome upon hearing the news. This case is reminiscent of previous instances of family annihilators in the Phoenix area, highlighting the role of marital issues in such tragedies.
