Three current or former Louisiana police chiefs and others were indicted for allegedly creating false police reports of crimes against immigrants to help them qualify for U-visas, with some receiving bribes; the scheme involved hundreds of false reports and resulted in a 62-count indictment for conspiracy, visa fraud, bribery, mail fraud, and money laundering.
