Rocket Lab is making design tweaks to its upcoming Neutron rocket, aiming to compete with SpaceX's Falcon 9. The new artwork reveals modifications to the fairing design, with the Neutron rocket now featuring two sections instead of four, potentially reducing points of failure. The forward fins have been repositioned higher on the rocket, and the size of the fairing halves has been slightly reduced. Neutron's landing legs now resemble Falcon 9's landing legs. The rocket will be powered by nine Archimedes engines and run on an oxygen-methane mix for fuel. Rocket Lab plans to launch Neutron next year.
