Kansas football has announced plans for a $300 million renovation of David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium and surrounding areas, with completion expected by the 2025 college football season. The investment includes upgrades to the Anderson Family Football Complex, Memorial Stadium, and the development of a new Gateway District. The university has already raised $165 million for the project, which will not rely on general state or university funds. The renovation comes as Kansas aims to revitalize its football program and prioritize its success in the upcoming Big 12 era.
Dusty May, the head coach of Florida Atlantic University's (FAU) basketball team, has confirmed that he will remain with the program next season and is expected to sign a lucrative long-term contract. May, who has been with FAU for five seasons, turned down multiple offers from power-conference schools in February and March. The deal is expected to be worth north of $1 million annually and will be a major financial commitment for the program. FAU is also upgrading conferences, leaving C-USA for the American Athletic Conference later this year. The salary pool for FAU's assistants will also be significantly increased, and extensive overhauls are coming to FAU's basketball arena, athletic offices, and multi-sport facility.
