Minnesota to Reissue 150K Expired Tax Rebate Checks
The Minnesota Department of Revenue is reissuing nearly 150,000 expired one-time tax rebate checks that went uncashed within 60 days of their issuance in August and September. The reissued checks will be valid for 60 days from their new issuance dates, and eligible taxpayers who haven't received the reissued check will be assisted. Unclaimed rebate checks will eventually be transferred to the Unclaimed Property Division of the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
