Coast Guard Pursues Search After EPIRB Activation Near Cape Ann; One Body Recovered
The U.S. Coast Guard Northeast District began a search and rescue operation after an EPIRB activation from the 72-foot fishing vessel Lily Jean, about 25 miles off Cape Ann. Attempts to contact the vessel were unsuccessful; a debris field and a life raft were found, and one unresponsive person was recovered.
