Dead Island 2's gore and combat are impressively sickening, with its proprietary "flesh system" allowing for anatomically correct evisceration of zombies. Environmental gore is also thoughtfully smeared into the game's environment, making for a truly nasty, high fidelity carnage. Players are capturing and sharing the best gore the game has to offer, with some gore being interactable.
