Tsunoda Penalized, Starts Mexico City GP from Back of Grid
Yuki Tsunoda will start the Mexico City Grand Prix from the back of the grid after receiving a penalty for making multiple changes to his car, including a new power unit, during FP1. Tsunoda did not participate in the session himself, with Formula 2 driver Isack Hadjar driving in his place. The penalty was imposed for breaching FIA regulations, and Tsunoda's starting position will make it more challenging for him to replicate his previous points-scoring performance. Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo finished FP1 in eighth place for AlphaTauri.
