Rabid moose euthanized after breaching airport fence.
A moose that breached the outer perimeter fence of Bradley International Airport in Connecticut has been euthanized by EnCon Police and Wildlife Division out of an abundance of caution to protect the airport environment and vehicles on Route 20. Both DEEP and airport staff are authorized to euthanize a moose if deemed necessary when they are roaming in high-traffic areas such as airports and public roadways.
