United Airlines Pilot Charged for Ax Attack on Denver Airport Gate
A United Airlines pilot, Kenneth Henderson Jones, has been charged with criminal mischief for using an ax to destroy a barrier gate at an employee parking lot at Denver's airport. Jones claimed he hit his breaking point and was trying to help several drivers exit. After a scuffle with a lot attendant, he fled on foot but was later taken into custody by Denver police. United Airlines has removed Jones from the schedule and is conducting an internal investigation. The cost to fix the damaged parking arm is estimated to be around $300.
