Market Basket Employees Take Down Accused Wallet Thief
Market Basket employees in a New Hampshire store stopped and held a man accused of stealing a customer's wallet. The suspect, Robert Desmond, grabbed the wallet from a woman's purse and was held down by store employees until police arrived. During the struggle, Desmond bit one of the employees, causing minor injuries. He was arrested on charges including robbery, simple assault, and possession of a controlled substance.
