Delphi murder suspect's attorneys file emergency motion for prison transfer.
Attorneys for Richard Matthew Allen, who is charged with killing two teenage girls in Indiana, have filed an emergency motion to move him from his current prison, citing a deterioration in his condition. They claim he is being treated like a prisoner of war, sleeping on a pad on a concrete floor, and is not allowed visits from his family. Allen has been held at the maximum-security Westville Correctional Facility since November. The special judge in the case has scheduled a June 15 hearing on a defense request to allow Allen to be released on bail.
