Microsoft's Emergency Fixes for Acropalypse and Screenshot Privacy Bugs

Microsoft has released an emergency update to fix the 'acropalypse' bug, which could allow information cropped out of images by Windows screenshot tools to be recovered. The vulnerability means that parts of a PNG or JPEG image that have been cropped out aren't properly removed from the file after it's saved again. The update can be applied from the Microsoft Store and users are recommended to do so as soon as possible. The bug has also affected the Markup feature on Google Pixel phones.
