Introducing Phyre: The Surprising Protagonist of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
The Chinese Room has revealed Phyre, the Elder Kindred who will serve as the main playable character in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Players will be able to customize Phyre's gender, clan, outfits, behavior, and more, with their choices having significant consequences on the world and story progression. Phyre wakes up in a changed Seattle after a 100-year slumber, accompanied by a mysterious companion named Fabien. The game offers a non-binary good or evil playthrough, allowing players to shape Phyre's actions and outcomes. Additionally, players can shape Phyre's legend by confirming, denying, or not commenting on their past deeds. The game blends real-world elements with fiction, adding intrigue to the storyline. A gameplay reveal is scheduled for January 2024, with a Fall 2024 release date.
