IDF Recovers Body of Hostage Elad Katzir Killed by PIJ
Elad Katzir, who was kidnapped in October alongside his mother and whose father was murdered by Hamas, was announced to have been killed in captivity within the Gaza Strip by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. His body was recovered by IDF commando soldiers and returned to Israel. His sister criticized the Israeli leadership for failing to secure his release, stating that he could have been saved if a deal had been made in time.
