Convicted killer Edward Kindt granted parole
Edward Kindt, who was convicted of the rape and murder of Penny Brown in 1999 when he was 15, has been released from prison after being granted parole. Kindt's release has caused concern in the Salamanca community, where Brown was killed, and the Seneca Nation has banned him from their territories. Kindt's county of commitment is listed as "Cattaraugus," but he was released to an undisclosed location in Dutchess County.
