Eddie Pepperell has criticised LIV Golf, the Saudi-backed tour, for spending an unprecedented amount of money to attract players like Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson and Cameron Smith. Pepperell responded to a tweet that claimed LIV's future growth was unlimited, saying that if you spend in a year a significant chunk of what another institution has spent in nearly a century, it shouldn’t be surprising you’d get players like Cameron Tringale in return.
